About Dr. Sandra Palmer

Most organizations do not struggle because they lack ideas. They struggle because growth, complexity and people challenges begin to outpace the way the business is being led and managed. That is where I do my best work.

I work with CEOs, business owners and leadership teams who have reached a point where the organization needs greater clarity, stronger management capacity and more disciplined execution. Sometimes the challenge is growth. Sometimes it is transformation, leadership pressure, organizational complexity, culture, accountability or a business that has simply become harder to manage than it used to be.

My role is to help leaders see the business more clearly, confront the issues that matter most and make better decisions about people, structure, priorities and execution. I create the strategic space senior leaders often need but seldom have: a confidential, expert-led environment in which to think honestly, challenge assumptions and move from scattered effort to focused action.

As CEO and Senior Partner of Above or Beyond, I bring more than two decades of experience across business leadership, consulting, executive coaching, academia and strategic advisory work. That breadth allows me to move comfortably between the boardroom and the operating reality of the organization, from strategy and leadership alignment to management systems, accountability and implementation.
